From Homeless Link by Matt Harrison:
The proportion of our day to day activities that we carry out online has increased rapidly. We buy online, form relationships online, manage our finances online and we learn online.
Our research estimates that, on average, only a quarter of homeless charity clients are sufficiently IT literate. We want to make sure that people experiencing homelessness are not excluded from that trend and that they’re able to take advantage of all that the internet offers. Not only will it give them new skills, it has the potential to help them move on from homelessness.
