Recorded homelessness in Hillingdon goes up 733% in 2 years

Hillingdon’s homeless figures had the largest percentage increase of all London boroughs between 2010 and 2013.

Between 2010 and 2011 there were just five recorded homeless people in the borough.

This increased to 16 between 2011 and 2012 and there were 50 by 2013, meaning there was a 733 per cent increase, according to figures from the Combined Homelessness and Information Network (CHAIN).
